I really enjoyed reading about Edgar Allan Poe. I felt that his use of horror was very interesting! He used words to explain what was going on.

I liked Edgar Allen Poe's work, even though I am no the type of person who likes scary stories. I loved reading The Raven it was alot of fun to define some of the stanzas, I also had fun seeing all of the different pictutres we drew and connecting them all to the real poem. Edgar Allen Poe is a great horror writer. I also may want to read the story about the man that goes wild over that old guy's "scary" eye, it seems more funny than scary. Edgar Allen Poe is a very strong writer and I love the large, confusing words. I can't wait to read more poetry it is so much fun!

I loved how he made his people cyco and he made you wonder if he is dreaming or not. He used precsise detail to give you a picture in your head of someone being murdured, or freaking out,having a "scary'" eye. I like how Edgar Allen Poe writes his short stories and poems. would love to keep going on with our poetry unit. i hope we would read some more interesting poems from some extravagant poets. Therefore I love our poetry unit.

Hi, I kind of like the poetry unit. I really like Edgar Allen Poe, but i am not really a fan of poetry so in my opinion the other poems are boring. To me the big words get confusing and so does the writing because since it was written a long time ago it is written differently and I don't get it sometimes.
I also have an idea that maybe we could start a new unit, and everyone in the class writes a paper and creates a powerpoint on a topic that they really like (it could be an animal, or a famous person), because it might be more fun then getting assigned a topic.

I liked edgar allen poes poems even though his words in his poetry are from the eighteenth century and are confusing ,but the Raven website was a good idea if you want to learn more about the raven poem. I also liked how Edgar Allen Poe wrote about stuff that actually happened in his life or he dreamed about!

I enjoy our science unit because I have learned so much about earthquakes, that I have never learned before. Like, how they are formed and how volcanoes are too.
